Default DeHavilland Beaver ARF

Is there another ARF kit, besides VMAR, that is available in the US. I like the looks and almost scale detail of the VMAR and looking for a similar ARF in the same price range. The only ones I've seen are the fiber glass models that are a bit larger, heavier and about 3 times the price. Looking for an ARF that has proven its flight ability. Unfortunately, some VMARs fly, others dont. Their Beaver seems to be in the don't category. I have one but have not started to work on it yet, as looking for ways to improve the stall and roll problem I have read about from three previous pilots.

Yikes!! The Kmp Beaver is $600.00 US with floats! I could be wrong but I don't think Magy wants to be spending that kind of money. Besides the KMP, I haven't seen any Beaver ARFs. You may have to buy a kit and make it yours[8D]elf.

Thanx, but I 've seen that already and too ig to transport and a bit more than what I had in mind. It is nice looking though. I have also looked at Unionville Beaver, bit its not clear enough for details. VMAR is imported from Vietnam by Canada and I dont know where Unionville gets it from.

I love the looks of the larger f/g Beavers, but would not fit in my shop or my car. Maybe after my ninth kid moves out, I'll have an extra room.
