Default ModelTech Extra 300 Engine?

I just purchased a ModelTech Extra 300.

I have an OS .40LA and an OS .25FX engine.

Which one and what prop would you recommend to start with?

I'm leaning towards the .40LA with an 11x4/5 or the .25 with a 10x4.

Thanks,

Dan

Default ModelTech Extra 300 Engine?

Dan,
I chose to put a tt pro 36 and It burns holes in the sky. Turns a apc 10x5 somewhere between 13600-14000. The 40la would be comparable to my setup. Vertical snaps all day long.
Good Luck!
Marty

Default 40 LA

I have been running that motor in it and LOVE IT. Light weight L.A. design and some decent power as well as fuel economy. I've been using an 11X4 and it has some real decent power. Not unlimited but come on, this is a little plane. The 40 will be better than the 25 in this aircraft. You'll like the plane, it can't fall out of those "rails".
