Default Vmar's Texan ll ???

I took a peek at this tonight. Just need something different. We have an 80 inch wing, retract ready, looks pretty good, With a healthy fourstroke up front, could be a nice plane. Anybody flying this thing with pictures?

I called them up the other day requesting some "real pictures" to look at before I considered buying on. Some arrogant lady said those "cartoon drawings" were real pictures. Its amazing how easy it is for a company to lose a sale.

I had the Harvard, you should be able to find my post. The plane looked great, it flew well also. The wood was of questionable quality, but it did go together fine. I only got 1 1/2 flights in, totalled it from pilot error. The covering is shelf paper stuff, nobody likes it, but there was a lot of detail printed in.

Hello,

Vmar does have some unique subjects, but the quality leaves much to be desired. Too bad the structure is poor, since everything else can be replaced easily. I always recover all my ARFs and made some minor modifications and they will be up to par or even better with today's most deluxe ARFs. Dai Phan
