I put one together this past fall and followed instructions per manual and it went together slick as a whistle. I had a magnum 52 4 stroke laying around and wanted something besides the normal crop of 3d planes everyone else is flying these days. I did have to remove the wings several times during the build and that was a pain but I can't remember why LOL I ended up having to use a heavy nut to balance it out and I'd like to tell you how it flys but winter moved in and I haven't had a chance to maiden it yet. There is a good article in Model Airplane News about it this month.

A friendof mine has the fokker biplane version... pretty much the same plane and it flys great ... very easy to fly and land... I am thinking of getting the SE5A so we can chace each otheraround...

I hve the Folker , the biggest differance is that the new plane has airlerons on top and bottom wings .
The quality is excellant and I am very happy with the plane however dont under estimate the warnings on proper wing incedence -its critical on this type of plane .
On mine they all needed to be set to zero .

Don`t know about the fit inside the cowl but a 52 seems to be mentioned most often as the " ideal" for this bird. From what others have said, it sounds like a 70 would be overkill but I suppose that`s one of the things a throttle is good for!

A really good motor for that plane is the ASP ? Magnum 61 four stroke. I have been running one 2 yrs in my Eindecker. A friend has the 52fs Magnum mounted in his Fokker. They run well and you can get them for like $139 on ebay NIB.
