Default Great Planes Arf Zero-balance Problem

I have a Great Planes ARF Zero that I have finally had the time to finish building. I remember reading in the Tech Notes from Tower Hobbies web site that "this airplane can take as much as 16 oz. in the nose to balance". I anticipated that I may have some trouble with balance so I put an older OS 70 four stroke up front. I also have the battery all the way forward to the firewall. I now have added an additional 10-1/2 oz. of weight to the front and I'm still a little tail heavy. I hate to add anymore weight for fear the wing loading will be totally unacceptable.

Has anyone else built the aircraft and did you experience the same problem?

What was your fix for this?

Thanks,
Ray
