Hey guys. Could some one please help. I am joining the two wing halves on a Extra 300 S from Giant Scale Planes and the instructions are not the best in the world. There are two aluminium joiners. One is approx 3/4 in dia and about a foot long. The second on is approx 1/4 in dia and about two inches long. This is the one I'm not sure about. The book shows this joiner to fit between the two wing halves down close to the leading edge. There is a small hole drilled through the jointing wing rib on both wing halves but the depth of the holes are only a 1/4 inch deep then you hit what I think is a wing rib dubbler on both wing halves. The book does not say to drill through the second set of ribs and does not say to cut the jointer to fit either. But the way it is it surly will not fit. Can anyone help please. Thanks and have a great day.

I think you need to drill a little,be careful the pin does not slip all way into the wing, when gluing. On the bigger GSP kits, these pins are used on the tail, and i had to drill the stab ribs a bit more..
