Anyone out there flying a Model Tech Dragon Lady with a YS 91?
Good combo? If so--what prop are you using?
Any comments--good/bad please.
Thanks

I flew mine with a O.S. 91 4 stroke, flew great with 14X6 prop, if you are refering to the YS 91 4 stroke i think ot will be a very good match with the same prop or slightly bigger like 15X6 or 8.

Hello Irl the ys 91 would work good with the 15/6 the 14/6 on that motor would be to small i tried that combo once and it over it was just to lite of a prop. Keep in mine the ys 91 like you have runs like most 120s sized 4 strokes if you use the higher nitro content fuels good luck

Default 120

I had a YS-91 on mine, flew great. My friend had a OS-120 on his, flew even better. Can't emagine the plane with a YS 120, must be great.

13X8 APC and YS 20-20 fuel for the 91.

IRLJR,

I have a Dragon Lady powered with the YS91 AC, more than enough power.

Plane is a dream to fly, although it does not have enough rudder authority. I chopped off the rudder and top of the vertical fin and made a "Cap" like counterbalanced rudder. Big improvement.

Ailerons in each wing, servos mounted in the tail.

Never bothered to put the cowl on mine, just fly it like it is.

Running APC 14 X10, YS 20/20 fuel, GP F plug.

I've had one for years with an OS 1.20 which has been an excellent match. However, I think a strong 91 would fly it just as well.

My motor is getting dirty and tired, soon will be time for a tear down. Other than that she's been a great plane.
