Will a 11 x7 instead of a 10x6 propeller help slow down my .40la Hobbico Superstar down when coming in for a landing? Is this propeller actually to big for this engine?
Thanks in Advance for your advice

no it will not help slow down your plane. The second number is the pitch of the prop. The higher the number the greater the angle of attack - basically means it moves more air.
try a 11x5 prop. I have used this size on a OS .40 la and loved it.

I would try a 11x5. This should slow you down. I had a Master Airscrew 10x6 on my 40 and switched to an APC 11x5 and love the results. More thrust and less speed.
