Ok I agree this thread has degenerated.
Just one more thing- Bias ply tires are still available. Check with your local auto racing group. Bias ply tires give a more controllable warning in the corners. Its only recently radials have begun to be used by racers.
BTW I still use carbon zinc batteries in my flashlights. I find them more cost effective than the others.
I still think a pilot ought to learn to steer a taildragger on the ground and not have to depend on a gyro.
