Default dazzler firewall

I have a dazzler arf and i talked to a couple of people that also have them and they had two front ends rip off infront of the leading edge. My dazzler has one season on it and no problems. However I switched engines from a 50 size fourstroke to a 52 two-stroke and am wondering if anyone ran into this problem with the front end and also wondering if anyone ran a dazzler on a 52.

I am running mine with a .46FX, but mine was a kit. I would check the amount of epoxy used to glue to firewall. Also, check if it is re-inforced with two triangular pieces of balsa at each side. You can download the instruction manual for the kit and read how the firewall is glue to the fuse.

My Uproar (same basic plane without the turtle deck) flies nice with an OS 32!

Hi Ernie,

Do you have unlimited vertical with the 32?

Thanks,
Pedro

Very, very near vertical with the 32. It flies really light and nimble, on the wing as they say. I am using a AAA nimn 720 battery pack to help keep it light. I went with std servos, but minis would have been even better with the 32 up front. An 11x3 APC prop is working good, along with a Mac's black muffler. I mounted the engine at an angle so that the mac's pipe comes out right down between the landing gear, and went with BJ's lightweight aluminum gear from Tower. It is a blast!
