I'm trying to decide between these two planes for my first jump into 3D but can't decide which. If I get the Twist I'll recover it so that brings the price about the same as the GS40. Would appreciate your thoughts or opinions. Thanks

I've been trimming out a new Accel Katana the last couple days. Power with OS46FX, stock muffler, APC 12.25x3.75, 20% nitro. Plane went together easily, flies very light, no KE coupling at all rolled right, only a very little rolled left. Built-in side thrust looks about perfect--no veering off on up-lines. Harriers beautifully. Goes completely spastic on high rates. Should be lotsa fun!

Twist is the same size but just 1 lb. heavier. Do the math.

I'm sticking with my recommendation on the Katana, but just want to say I made little progress today trying to mix out what little coupling there is, 'cuz the stock linkage is a bit sloppy. I shudda known that. I'd mix it so it was good on one flight, then it would be too much or too little on the next flight. Got lots of practice pushing buttons. The peanut gallery liked it though. They thought I was showing off.
