Default Help! WM T-34 Wing To Fuse Fit Problem!

Anybody have this problem? I`ve already addressed an issue with the aileron torque rods not clearing the wing hold down bolt plate. A little sanding took care of that. The main problem is that when I place the wing on, the aft part of the wing will not slip down as it should. I can`t see anything that`s binding it in the rear part of the wing, making me wonder if the problem`s not up front somewhere ( ? ). Any advice would be helpful. I`ve been flying a while but this is my first ARF assembly. Thanks.

thats very unusual. At my club we have T-34 races and everyone has a WM T-34. I have never heard of this. I didn't encounter this on my T-34.

As I recall on mine I had to do some sanding on the front of the wing saddle to get the wing to fit properly. I can't recall if I had to sand on the wing tab as well, but usually that's all it takes...

where is the gap if any?you may have to sand the slot in the bulkhead a bit to alloww the wing to slide all the way forwrd if it is hanging up there.mine fits fine but will be showing a way to seal the joint with silicone in a few more installments of my t-34 re-alignment project.I did the wing hold down totally different as i did not like the lite ply or the use of tee nuts and machine scres a bad combination.see my post in this forum.

Andy hit the nail on the head. I have put two of them togather and had to open the saddle a little to get the rear edge to drop in.
