If you comfortable flying a trainer and want to move up. Try this one.
I'm enjoying the heck out of this airplane. My only experience before this was G2 and and Hobbico Avistar that I only got 3 flights on before the elevator dislodged. No problems like that with this plane as it comes assembled and only need servos, engine, and radio gear installed.
Use recommended throws for smooth flying and double them for an aerobatic pattern trainer. Mine has a OS 46 on it.

Nice-looking model, Nolan. I've been curious to hear a report on these. They're expensive, but seem to be top-shelf all the way.

Welcome to planks...<G>

Thanks, Steve.

I'm very pleased with the assembly of this plane. I do have a Tucano 40 (T27) that I bought from an individual. The kit was never assembled. It was from the old distributer, AMF (Amano Model Factory) It's red/white in color and the finish is very nice. Servo layout is better also.
I just need to get some (cheap) servos and it'll be flying soon.

BTW........to those reading the above, don't misunderstand my CHEAP servo statement. Any servo less than $50 seems cheap to me after buying servos for all my helicopters.

It's a very nice change to fly my Helicopters on one flight line and a plane on the other.

I dunno know about your area, Nolan, but the sport plankers at my field have coughing fits when they find out how much I have invested in servos in the helis and a couple of my planks.

One well-known junk-meister nearly had a stroke when I told him I had $600 worth of digital servos in a $250 ARF...<G>

Most of them think differently than we do; probably because they have never experienced the thrill and horror (and expense) of a real mainshaft-bender... <BFG>

All in fun guys; okay?

Hi there!!! I know this Pegasus 46S, as it is made here in Brazil..
I know these planes since they were called Águia ("Eagle").
They're very stable and nice flying, but here they are just inexpensive... I think Prince put a very high price on it, as they are no Hangar 9, Hobbico, etc etc etc...

Well, back to Pegasus, it is some kind of brother of the Eagle, but the rudder is enlarged and the wing is a little different.
Prince has two versions of the "Eagle", one I think is called 40T and the another one is the 46S. The difference between them is basically the elevator and the wing. On 40T, they are just like trainers, so it is more stable. On 46S, they are more "sport-like".

See you!

flquintal, Your close but not quite right. The Pegasus 40 T and 40 S are trainers the 46S is just a little more advanced. But yes, it's stable and fully responsive.

Here's the 40S and 40T (the one on the right is the Gemini 40 S/T)

Wing 58" Fuse 45" and stab 22" on 40 S/T series

Wing 84" Fuse 82" and Stab 25.7 on 46S

They don't look very different but they are.

OH and I agree, they are a TOO costly.

Hey Steve, hehehe I like giving the planksters coughing fits! :devious:

If the Pegasus 46 came with retracts, maybe I'd be interested..... but all of their planes do seem a bit pricey.... However, I know their construction is TOP NOTCH !

OH YES!!! I was talking to my friend who takes care of Prince Brazil and he said that they're exporting the "EAGLE" 40T and 40S with the new name (PEGASUS), AND they also are exporting the 46S, which is the one with the enlarged rudder...
