Default lightweight receiver,standard servos??

I,m in the process of building a sig 4* 40,and I have a Hitec mini receiver meant for an electric,is it OK to use that with standard servos,or is it foolish to use this to try to save a few bucks. Thanks

If it is FM, dual conversion it might be OK. If it is AM or single conversion don't even think about it. The useable range will be too short, and radio interference on a 4Star could be much more serious than on a park flyer.

That one should work fine for your 4Star.
