hi,
I am trying to find a small arf that will suit a .10 - .15 glow engine.
I have seen the O K models range, but preferably i am looking for something that is pre - covered and not in kit form.
If anyone knows of any small sized arf's ( 30" - 40" span) then please let me know
Thanks

Great Planes has two new "combat series" planes, a P-51D and an Corsair that may fill your needs.
There is also the H-9 mini funtana that some have converted to glow.

Hi Phil,
I can't answer your question, but I'll tell you this...if you fly where there is any wind at all, get ready for some crashes. I've seen more crashes with .15 and .25 size aircraft than any other. Even a newbie with a .40 trainer has a better chance of dealing with the wind.
I think the problem is this. Small planes tend to be flown at lower altitude, cause they are hard to see. When the small planes turn downwind, they can't outrun the wind, so they stall out and come down in a spin. Starting from a low altitude, this equates to a bad crash. These are fun planes, but not for novices, and only for a dead calm, in my humble opinion. Good Luck.

I know there are others out there. Additional candidates would be electrics, people have good results converting to glow.

I currently fly a Wattage Pitts (the old white one) converted to glow AP .15 engine that will handle wind with no problem. Fun little sucker and has way more power then the crapy electric that came with it.
