What's the verdict from people flying it? I currently have a Super Stick 40 and like it a lot. I am considering getting the Ultra Stick when my daughter steals my Super Stick from me!

Love the plane. Especially the quad-flaps option. You will have a ball climbing to about 500 ft and diving straight down the runway and flaring it from about 6 ft. So far, that is the only trick I know since i'm new at this.

Great plane! Very forgiving and a ton of fun to throw around the sky. I power mine with a OS .46FX and a black MACS muffler. Since the engine is mounted sideways the muffler deflects all of the exhaust down and to the rear of the plane. Usually the elevator still gets a little slimy but a very easy cleanup!

I had a Super Stick 60 for many years and sorry to say it got shot down by someone turning their transmitter on.
I have had four Ultra Stick 40's since they came out and still have one. I think the Ultra Stick is far superior to the Super Stick. The Ultra Stick is much lighter and is covered with Ultra coat rather than the sticky back shelf paper than the Super Stick is covered with.
I ran 4 strokes on all these and the Ultra Sticks came out nose heavy with the supplied aluminum engine mounts which I promptly changed to a Great Planes plastic mount.
I run high rates all the time with a lot of exponential. Love the plane
