Default What Prop for Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 60 w/ O.S. 91 Surpass?

I'm about ready to purchase a prop for my Ultra Stick 60 with O.S. 91 Surpass 4-stroke. What do you guys recommend? I was thinking 14x8? Let me know what you guys thinks. Thanks.

you can run a 14x8 but I would try a 13x6 also, I was running a 91 surpass on a small extra & I found the 13x6 was the best performing prop on this combination, also different brand props don't perform the same, I really liked the apc, give it a try, you might have to try a few different props before you find the one you like

I'm using a 3-blade Graupner 14 x 7 on my OS 91 Surpass II. It turns at 7700 rpm wich is kinda low but it helps the engine idle very, very low and it slows the plane great on those verticle dives to the runway with crow deployed. APC 14 x 8 works good also. Turns about 8300 rpm. The plane is so light you really don't need to turn 10000 rpm like with the 13 x 6. I also hover with the 3-blade and the APC 15 x 8. I'm at sea level.

I run an APC 13x6 on my Saito .72 and YS .63. I think that prop would be a little light for a .91.

'm running a 14x6 on my Saito .91-powered WM P-51. Lots of thrust. I'll be trying an 11x12 on that bird soon - that should get the speed up!

Try a 14/7 Masterairscrew "Antique Series". I have one on my Saito 91 on a US Stick and will hover at 1/2 throttle at 5000ft..
