The tail wheel assembly itself is of very good
quality , but I've noticed that the "hard-point ?"
on the fuselage seems to be on the wimpy side.

Has anyone out there had any problems in this area
with this or am I being overly cautious ?

50+ flights, and no problems w/ tail wheel. Or anything else for that matter. But mine is powered conservitivly, FPE 2.4. It's lite weight and flies great.

I've got about 20 flights on mine with a g-62 & smoke, it weighs in @ 21# wet, had some hard landings, no problem with tail wheel

Default Roby - mounting location

I think there was something on the GP update site about the tailwheel screw hole locations...can't recall exactly, but it had to do with the forward hole being placed incorrectly. You may want to check that out.

I did all the upgrades per the instructions provided
by GP which included the relocation of the tail wheel.

I'll consider my concerns a non-issue

Thanks to all who responded, your time and effort
is appreciated.

Roby
