Hi,
I am looking for a 40 sized ARF sport plane, if someone could give me some reccomendations to so nice looking (in your opinion) 40 sized sport arf's that would be great.
Thanks.

Kind of hard to answer your very broad question in a very helpful way. What do you fly now? What do you want to do with your plane? Absent any limiting factors, I'll just give you a few of my favorites -- the super sportster and ucando 3d .46 by great planes, and the World Models Super Stunts 40.

WM Supersports or the Kyosho Calmato is my recommendation. The WM T-34 as HitecMan stated is also very good. I think the Calmato is one of the nicest looking low-wing trainers but the Rambler 30 is my vote for the prettiest overall. It's 30-size. I have a 52 4-stroke O.S. in it and it's absolutely wonderful. Only problem is the wheels aren't quite in the right positions... a little bending here and there and it's fine.

it is many planes to choose from...
my personal recommendation would be the great planes dazzler 40, it flies nice on a os 46 la.
i used the 46 la and 5 hs81 servos= a perfect combination!

I fly the super sportster with an os 52 fs. As you can see, I put skis on it and fly it year round. I added some color to the bottom of the white wing, near the wing tips. Love how this thing flys. Fast or slow, and it can float. It's one plane that I will always keep around. A good sport flier for just flying.

yep.. the super sportster is also a good choice.
I"ve seen one on the lokal field, and as you say: fast, slow, aerobatic or just calm trainer flying i really rhink this plane lives up to its name!

How about the world models sky raider mach 2. They are only $70 a pop and are built well with good covering.
I also second the world model p-51. (in background under the extra)

You said our opinion so I say take a look at the planes at falcon-trading.com. My Jupiter is a super plane and sometimes it will do things that I know I shouldn't. It's an ARF and it's made of ABS (SOFT) plastic. I like the others also but you said SPORT plane so that's the one I listed. ENJOY !!!!!! RED
