Ive got a .40 la and servos waiting for a plane. What arf is out there thats light enough so I could get good (maybe 3d?) performance out of the LA? I was thinking of the Modeltech Magic or the Phoenix Models Sonic 25. Any other suggestions? I'd appreciate any input.

Hi
I have the Magic Extra with the LA40 and a 11x4 prop - Not enough power for 3D ,however the combo is very light and I have learned much from it.
It is essentially a nice slow flier because of the low weight. If slow flight is your thing(like me) then great ,if you want to 3D then this is not the combo.

Thanks, Yeah I figured it would be pushing it. I know the .40 doesnt have much oomph but Ive got it sitting here so I'd like to do something with it that'll turn out fun. Thanks for the help.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

World Models Sky Raider Mach 2. They have a street price of about $70 and are built well with good covering. It is light and has good wing area. It flies better than it looks.
Mine weighs in at just above 4 pounds and hovers at half throttle with a TT .46 on it turning an 11.5x4 APC at 4200 feet.
