As the title implies I'm buying a T34; but I need help choosing between the "hangar 9" and the "world models" one... any input? are there significant differences? I'm buying the size 40.

It all depends on if you just want to fly it or are concerned about "scale" looks. I have had two WM T-34's and am still flying the second. Stable and inexpensive.
The H-9 is more scale looking but I haven't flown it to rate.

completely different. WM can be a low wing trainer. H9 is more scale and flies as such. if you're a beginner, WM is the way to go. lovely flying characteristics, good quality and nice to look at. go H9 if you want to fly scale and have adequate low wing trainer time.

Forestroke where have you been?!!! Nice to see you about again. H9 one looks great but looks harder to fly than the WM one, WM is very much a nice low wing trainer. Its a lot cheaper too!

As above... If you want scale go with H9... If you want a great flying well built nice looking plane go with WM... The H9 also has weak retracts ...

Can't speak on the H9 version but the WM T-34 is an excellent flying plane I would recommend. Light weight, easy to assemble, good hardware kit, flies much like a pattern plane/pattern trainer but will come to a crawl for landings. As bumstead put it, stable and inexpensive...It performs well with a 46fx and is quite capable in windy conditions. Great flying plane overall!

Even though I "feel comfortable" with a low wing plane, I've already crashed 2 (one yesterday, complete loss, Tiger 2 CG).. So I guess I still need trainning on this... . Well, how much difference (money) is between this two? thanks everyone!

I`d recommend the WM T-34. While true it`s not as scale as the H9, it`s still a nice looking rendition of the T-34C TurboMentor, particularly if you go with the red and white version and dress it up with after market decals ( Navy ). As is stated universally, it`s a sweet flyer as well.

WM T-34 is about $129.00, the H9 is about $169.00. Crashing a couple birds has the tendency to shake one's confidence...we've all been there....I would venture to say however that your concern with low wingers is more mental than skill related...If you've solo'd, your good to go with a basic low winger like the WM T34.. Just remember to fly within your boundaries!
