Default Looking for Tips in Regards to Night Flight

Our Club has a function comming up in mid October, and we plan to do some night flying. I am looking for some of the best, most economical ways to light a Plane, and the best placement upon the Plane to use the lighting. Though I am not new to Flying, Night Flying is something I don't have much experience with, and would like to hear from those Night Flying Pros.

I forgot to mention that I will be using one of my old 40 size Nitro Trainer Planes for this event. More than likely the Tower Trainer 40.
