Hi again guy's, hope you are all well and getting plenty of flying in, Windy, rainy and miserable here (central west OZ) at the moment.
Just a quick question for anyone who has had anything to do with the World Models "Midget Mustang".
How do they rate?? Flying, landing, prefered motor etc. I like the look of them but not sure if they are better or worse than a "Little Tony". Thanks for any help you can throw my way.
Rgds,
Rod.

Rod, the one I have flys great. It has an OS91fs with a 13x9 APC prop and moves along pretty fast. It's a clean airplane and carries it's speed well, so you need a good idle on landing. Mine is a solid flying plane with no surprises. It will do basic aerobatics and such. The Midget Mustang is a fun airplane to bore holes in the sky and it looks good doing it!! You just have to make a little longer landing approaches to get it down to landing speed.

The Midget Mustang is a nicely amde airplane, but if you want a scale Formula Racer I would opt for the .60 size Shoestring or the Little Toni. I have flown all three and would rate the Midget Mustang number three among them for flying fun...

My Midget Mustang has a Saito 1.00 with a 14x8 APC on the nose and it flies great. Very solid, quick and smooth. One of the best flying planes I own. One caution: Be sure to reinforce the firewall (good advice for all ARFs). Mine came loose after around 15 flights. I epoxied it back in place and haven't had a problem since.

I just found out from my LHS that World Models has discontinued the Midget Mustang. They only have the blue version in stock for $249.00 and an Almost Ready to Cover version for $215.00. Get em while you can.
