I flew my pitts today. It flew great. however the engine is not running the best. I think it is overheating. Just wondering how much of the cowel you guys cut out for cooling. I will post a pic of my coweling later

Thanks
Bills

Good to hear that the first flight went well! I have been waiting for good weather to test mine out. I was concerned about cooling too, I had to cut out the "chin" (you know what I'm talking about, right?) on my cowl so that the engine head would clear. I also cut out the semi circle on the bottom of the cowl to make sure there was enough space for the air to get out.
