I am thinking about getting a Great Planes Space Walker and just wanted some input on this plane. I want a plane that flies great and is stable and will last a long time, but will still be able to do some basic aerobatic moves. I dont have near enough time anymore to do full builds soo I am stuck with going ARF. How is the ARF kit built and manufacturing. I have an OS .91 FS that I will be putting on the plane and I believe that this motor will be an awesome motor for the plane. From my research and messing around on G3 simulator.. This plane will be a grea plane to fly with the OS.91.

I took mine out yesterday flying. My Great Planes spacewalker has a Saito 100 on it, and has plenty of power. I am sure the 91 would be great as well. Great Planes has discontinued this Plane, so if you now where you can buy a new one at, you had better hurry because they will become harder to find New in the Box as time passes. The Plane really is a great flyer!

I had no idea that this model was discontinued...I was just planning of buying one off the internet....i guess thats not going to happen now........ Does anyone know of an airplane thats arf that is very similar to it or is there another company out there produced this space walker with the same quality thats worth getting... Just open for suggestions on a plane like this to run my .91 os on?

I keep seeing stuff on a SIG four star.. anyone have some input on that?

Seagull makes a 40 size Spacewalker ARF. Sig also has a kit of the 1/4 scale Spacewalker, but not the ARF. Sig also puts out a 1/3 scale kit I believe. The Great Planes Spacewalker ARF is a 1/4 scale in size if you were not aware of its size. Pretty big compared to that of a .40 size like that of the Seagull Spacewalker.

The 4 stars are a very popular second Plane. I personally think the sport is flooded with them, but still a very nice second Plane.

It is one of the greatest planes for flying. I have had mine for juyst over a year and love taking it to the field to fly. It fly's just like the G2 simulator and when you fly it for real it is great.

I love how the plane flies in the simulator and want to get one....but like stated above Great planes discontinued it. Does anyone else know of another plane that flies real similar to it?

The 4 star 60 will fly some thing like the spacewalker but a little faster. some thing else to think about is a 60 size cub one of the best flying planes I have is a cub and they fly a hole lot better in real life than on the simulator

If you can find one they are perfect for what you want[8D]. As mentioned the Sig FourStar is a good option. I think some one also said that World Models also makes a Spacewalker in a .40 size. Not sure if you just want a Spacewalker or something about the size of the GP Spacewalker with those flying traits. I am thinking you want large.

I have one of the old .40 size Dragon Ladys, fly's a lot like a small version of my Spacewalker .

To bad your not close by, I would sell my GP Spacewalker (6 flights) to you with the Supass .91 and full compliment of high torque servo's but shipping would eat you alive[].

Yes I am looking for a bigger plane that will handle really similar to the way the space walker does. Like I said I already have the engine and am looking for a nice plane to put it on. (OS .91) So just out there looking for a larger plane that flies really well and will still be able to do basic aerobatics.... Has anyone expierenced the Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 60? It looks like another good plane that would run really well with my Os .91...

The Ultra Stick 60 would be a great plane for you. It floats around like the GP Spacewalker, is easy to fly and is very aerobatic.

ESM (Kondor models I think) also make a Spacewalker, 80" span I think, The pics of it look pretty good too.

The Seagull Spacewalker is a 40 size plane, flies beautifully, very stable and is a well built plane. Mine needs considerable right rudder on the take off roll but other than that is a faultless, honest airplane.

If you want a big plane that is very stable, fun to fly and will do general aerobatics you can't go past the Pacific aeromodels "Gee Bee". Very well made, goes together well and is a treat to fly. This plane just does not stall, just slowly sinks.
