I've been a building junky for years and know absolutely nutt'n about ARF's .......except they used to be too heavy and were expensive for what you got. That was back when. It's obviously not the case now.

I test flew a friend's GP Chipmonk today and was knocked-out by the way it flew. Tracked straight as an arrow from takeoff to landing and Rolled like it was on a string. The 120 2-stroke was pretty adequate....not a rocket ship, but probably about what Art had to work with. The thing required NO trim adjustment ....flew it just the way it was born. Looks great too.

What's the world coming to. Good looking and flying planes without glue incrusted fingers. There's something sacrilegious about that.

Yep, a great plane for sure. I have one sitting in the box waiting for me to get to it. If you search on here there is a large thread about the plane that is on here as well.

Perfect plane for a 35--40cc gasser.

I want one bad. Gotta have it. But, still working on an airframe for an 80cc engine. Gotta get that one bought and built before I can justify the Chip.[&o]

I'm thinking either an Evo 35 or a Roto 35 or maybe the ZDZ40RV.[&:]

I have the roto 35vi for mine but if I didn't already have the motor I would get the MVVS 35cc (evo is a cheaper rebadged MVVS) with radial mount and save some serious cash from www.mvvs-nl.com The roto is a great motor but is really expensive when compared to Pe's price on the MVVS 35's.

Don't break the fuse. A friend of mine had a mishap and it broke the fuse up good. He ordered a fuse from Tower and it came it busted up bad, he called and they made him pay for a 2nd and when he recieved it it looked like someone jumped up and down on the box all day, needless to say, the second fuse was junk too.

He had his CC company stop both payments. He had a LHS order one for him. Last I knew, he is due to recieve it Tuesday.

Good looking plane, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE from Tower!
