cpatrick,
I'm in trouble, I just ordered a Giant Big Stik two days a go. How do I explain to my wife that I need a trailer to take the plane to the field. Where are your tie downs?
Back to being serious, what are you using for hinges? Depending on your results, I may want the bigger control surfaces also and it would be nice to use removable hinges now.

HEY CHUCK, LOOKS GREAT! I USED ROBART LARGE HINGES FOR ALL SURFACES...ONLY HAD A LIMITED NUMBER, BUT USED THREE ON EACH ELEVATOR HALF AND FOUR ON AILERONS, TWO ON FLAPS, WHICH HAVEN'T BEEN SEPARATED YET. ALSO FOUR ON RUDDER...JUST REALIZED THAT RUDDER INTERFERES WITH ELEVATORS AT EXTREME THROWS...OOPS! BETTER FIGURE THAT ONE OUT....PAT

I used the CA hinges but cut them 1.5 in wide, cleaned the slots with a slot cutter and drilled a 1/8 wicking hole.
One word of caution - DO NOT use any Hitec Karbonite servos on this plane.
