The weight of 3lb 10 oz is with ignition, exhaust, and battery?
Because I'm thinking in buying one and using the zdz 50 weighs around 3.37lbs I believe that is with battery and ignition. What is the total weight of your plane with that engine?

I ordered mine from a German web site. They have them cheaper at $425, The prop drill jig is only $26 and they don't charge any shipping right now. Click the small icon in the lower left corner to choose English and US currency. Shipping time is approx. 3 weeks, but they have them IN STOCK and ready to ship. Mine shipped a few days ago.
Bisson has mufflers now at $98.
I hope this helps. Good luck. :thumbup

I hope you are running a Hitec Radio. I've heard or problems with the hitec digitals and other Radio brands. I am running JR coreless servos 4131 and 4127.I had a 2.4 in mine and it had almost unlimited vertical. I like everyone else has been bitten by the power bug. The ZDZ50 turns a 22X10 at 7000 rpm.

I put a Brisson 2.4 in mine at 3lb 10oz with battery, ignition and muffler. With that I had to put about 1oz of lead on the tail.
Sorry I didn't answer earlyer. I've done alot of researchon the ZDZ 50 and decided to order one for my plane. The 2.4 works good, but I think the ZDZ 50 will work great at no extra weight.
