I remember coming across a website awhile back that sold lots of different ARFS.
The website actually broke them down by the following sizes:
.25
.36
.40
1.20 etc…
It wasn’t a well known manufacturer of RC planes, but they looked like good quality.
I remember the website background was blue.
Has anybody seen this website?

Background's not blue, but these people sell lots of ARFs and have them broken down by sizes: http://www.towerhobbies.com/listings/cat-cat-a.html

I'd like to know where to get them CHEAP.
It seams that all the distributors sell them for the same price. Who sells ARFs at a discount? Who sells gas engines (not glow--GAS) at a discount?
Good links guys. I didn't even know winnerrc existed. Or Omni.
Thanks

The trouble is, most "well known" manufacturers make their customers sign an agreement that "sets" the price of their products. This policy is supposed to keep the mom & pop's from being eaten alive by the big boys like Tower Hobbies and Hobby People. If they do not honor the agreement, the manufacturer simply will not sell to them.
I think if you find this source, you will find that what they have will be unknown brands.
Good luck,
CJ

Well, Omni is sort of Tower Hobbies. It is just a different front end, but they both are tied in to Hobby Services and all merchandise either comes from Champaign Ill, or Reno Nevada. There are a few differences though. Omni will do free shipping for orders over $100.00 but at tower it has to be $150.00. However, Tower has the big promotion deals going that are not honored by Omni so for the most part it is pretty much a wash.
My customer number is exactly the same at both places, but my personal experience between the 2 is that Omni is a little quicker to respond to e-mails and shipping notifications.
I don't know if it is true, but I heard that the person that started Omni Models left and started another online distributor, (Maybe Quantum Models? not sure).
