Default Ultra Stick Programming

Greetings, I am trying to set up my ultra stck with an older JR radio. (Model A10C-4FSR) I cannot perform some of the functions using my radio. For example, the wing type selection. The book tells you to select QUAD FLP but i do not have this option. I have only flaperon, elevon, and V-tail options. Am I going to have to use a Y harness for my ailerons? I am trying to set it up for the crow feature but cannot figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How many channel radio is this? You may be able to do the crow, but not be able to couple the flaps with the ailerons. You will need 4 channels just for the ailerons/flaps for the advanced crow. For the basic crow, use an aux. channel for the flaps, aux. channel to seperate the ailerons, have the flaps go down and slave the ailerons to go up. This is if this radio has the mix programing to allow this. If you go with an 8103 make sure you have all digital trim model. The mechanical throttle trim model will only allow very little trim on the throttle (glider mode). The new Futaba 9C series has the crow as a built in option. I'm sure JR will be following suit if they haven't already.
