pacific aeromodel has that plane in red and white or black and yellow. I own the smaller 84" version and it flies great. easily the best arf I have ever owned or seen. Fit and finish is perfect and it lands super slow.

It looks suspiciously like the new Pacific AeroModels 97" Gee Bee Model Y. like the one in this photo.

This particular one flys fine with a 70cc 2 cylinder gasser.

Maybe another distributor has had this one covered in another non-scale color scheme.

White with red trim is the only scale scheme that was ever done for a "Y".

Most ARF manufacturers build ARFs for more than one company. The brand names you see in the US are usually just distributors, and the builders customize the finish to their specs. They will finish the same exact kit in a different scheme for another distibutor.

All the above is true. I just happened to think the red & black one in the pics is really sharp & would like to know where it is available, if available, in the states.

The Pacific 97" GBY is rated for up to a 62cc engine. A DA 50 or G-62 will give it all the power you would ever need.

The red and black one is not available in the US.

Thats too bad. I like that color scheme & would buy one if available. I'm to lazy to recover one, I do that to much as it is.
