I found about a 40 sized new in box ARF thats call the "legendary warbird series" by Great Plains. Anybody know what it is worth or how it flys? Thanks.

[8D]They are the old "foam covered" types. They look good, but you can't repair them since the covering is part of the structure. I have two of them. The FW190 flies great and has about twenty flights on it. The Zero needed a lot of weight in the nose so I put a .60 in it. Lands too hot for me so it has been up only three times. They were good about ten years ago, but ARFs have come a long way since then.

yeah, I think maybe excitment and greed fuzzed up your vision. A 40 sized plane. I know ARFS have come along. I have a lot of stick time and I can uaually make it a few seasons on a plane now. What do you think? Yes, it is foamie covered. Does the P51 fly ...OK?
