I received in a trade a P51D mustang ARC that is the same size as the Top Flite P51 1/7 scale kit. The person told me that it was produced a while back by Top Flite but I can't find any record of it nor any instructions. It is pretty simple to figure out how it goes together and I can take all the angles and measurements from the current TF P51 assembly manual. Just curious if anyone has heard of this kit/ ARC?
Thanks
Tony

Rich,
I think you are correct. I'm trying to find some pictures of the 65" P51 ARC. I guess it was produced a few years ago. the ARC is really good quality and looks pretty cool. Just need a canopy for it. I would put retracts in it. it's a sacrilege not to have retracts in a war bird LOL.
Thanks
Tony

I think the Top Flite canopy would fit since both planes are the same size. Yes, do put retracts in it. Any 85-degree retracts would fit.

I contacted Global, who now handles Modeltech, and they are good enough to send me a copy of the archived construction manual for the plane. they do not have any parts at all for it so I will go with the TF P51 canopy.
Thanks for your help,
Tony
