I have the same gear and have the same question. It looks like a nice kit and it would be nice not to have to build another Midwest from a kit. I hope thhttp://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemid=177935ey do!

Is the CMP ARF the same 82"er being sold by Nitroplanes?

Yes it is. I did some further checking with Robart and the 620s will not fit. They suggested the 605 series but I have my doubts on those as well. I'm told by Alex at AKM that the retracts that fit are from Eurokit http://www.eurokit.us but their web-site isn't user friendly when it comes to selecting the proper gear. I placed a call to Eruo and was told that Roger would have to get back to me and that I should e-mail my request. I'm waiting on a reply. Nitroplanes told me there wasn't any retracts available that fixed gear is all they offer. This contradicts their own pictures on their web site. Boy, an AT 6 without retracts would be like selling a four door sports car, not very exciting to drive or fly. The kit won't sell unless you can drop retracts into the wing without modifying.

Looks like a set of Robart 530's would work. You would have to use the 3/16 wire and bend the correct angle into it. A Robo strut on the wire could then be used.

Spacewalker 1 got my kit a couple of months ago the robarts wont work without alot of mods to the center section. I called alot of places trying to find retracts for it and Darrell at Sierra said he would make some for me.You are right no one wants this plane without retracts! this is a very nice kit and looks great. Using an OS 160 had to have Jtec make my muffler. bought a bison pitts style but wont clear firewall. Jtec made me a very nice pitts style that fits fine and very nice job. Soon as I get my gear IT wiil get its first test
