Default Internet Retailers??

I am looking to buy a SIG Kadet Senior ARF.

I know of Tower and Horizon, are there any other good e-tailers out there I could shop with?? The LHS here wants waaaay too much money for this thing!!

I am also in the market for a Magnum .91 and a good radio (was considering the polk's Tracker III, but one of our club instructors is irritated because it is touchy on the buddy box connection).

Any Ideas on where to shop??

Thanks!

OK,

I ordered the plane and engine from Chief.

Now, I am currently using an airtronics RD6000 on channel 50. positive shift, dual conversion.

Any advice on which radio I should upgrade to?

I will also need upgraded landing gear and some props for the magnum .90.

Thanks again!!

If you are concerned about saving money, it is damned difficult to beat Tower Hobbies with their Super Saver Club and all of the discounts they offer - including free shipping for orders over $150. It's not impossible to beat them, but very difficult.

If you plan on buying just one setup a year, you may not get your money back from the Super Saver Club. I don't know of many folks that haven't made out with the deal, though.

Depending on the products I want, I generally shop at Tower Hobbies, Hobby People, Horizon Hobby Distributors, Chief Aircraft, Sheldon's Hobbies, Morris Hobbies, etc. The list in the previous sentence is not constructed by preference. All are good suppliers. Sometimes you have to give Morris Hobbies a kick in the keaster to get them going, but most times they are okay.

Tower, Hobby People, Chief Aircraft and Horizon get the bulk of my orders. All provide excellent service.

So far as the Tracker goes, it's had good reviews in R/C Report and a few others recently....
