Default Starting With Spinner Nut ??

How in the world do you start a plane with a spinner nut ??? it will be kinda hard with a 12 v starter isnt it?? i tryed to start one of my planes without the spinner on it and it was very unbalanced and i just threw the spinner back on it.... Just havent seen many planes with spinner nut and i found one im thinking about getting..... Thanks

Look into the front of your starter. That rubber insert can be turned around. Pull it out and you'll see that the other end is made for small spinners and it works with safety nuts etc.

There are also different inserts you can buy for different nuts and spinners. I have one for standard spinners and one I use for the "acorn" nut type of prop nuts.
