Default MDS 148..NITRO CONTENT?

I have a MDS 148 it runs brilliant until i open the throtle then it seems to run very rich when i try to fine tune the needle it just dies
i am using 10%nitro alouth i have heard these run better on 0% any suggestions?? i have the later carb version.

I found that most MDS engines run better on 0-5% nitro fuels, like Moki and MVVS. Try Morgan's Omega 5%, if you can get it. Although many like the all-synthetic lube fuels, I'd suggest using a castor oil blend for this engine.
