there are many threads here about VMAR ARFs
Use the search function to check them out.
My observation, and it is nothing but that since I do not have first hand experience with VMAR ARFs, is that their quality leaves much to be desired.

The new Vmar edge is a cut above alot of the earlier Vmar planes.
Ok, Ok..... The hardware is totally crap!!! It needs to be changed out with one of the better qual' brands from your LHS. The two Wing halves are mid mounted via two alluminum wing tubes. These are in turn held tight, to the Fuz with a keeper nut (Hint, use a "Wing" nut..no pun intended). It's a bit hard to use the standard nut supplied with the kit. Covering is first class using the new polycote ECS system. F/glass cowl is great to say the least. Vmar are traditionally a little over weight, the new Edge 540T is no exception. I would recommend the OS 46fx or 50Sx or a good 70 size four stroke. Prices in Oz are from $270.00 to $300.00 AUD. The New RCM&N Magazine which will hit the stands on Friday 29 / 11 will feature a few adverts with the edge at the right price.
