New Hangar9 j3 cub
#2
Won't be available for a month or so, so nobody has one yet.
I saw one up close at IMS Show and they should be at the WRAM show too.
It's a CUB. What could be wrong?

Somewhere around 80", powered by an Evolution .46 with servos.
7 to 7.5 pounds
Just add a receiver, battery and transmitter (and a prop!) and go flying

They are too out. I have had mine for 3 weeks. its 80in wing span and around 51in long. Comes with servos and Evo.46 Really nice looking plane and flys great. Doesnt handle the ground the greatest but after a few landings its not bad! There is already a 3 page topic on it btw.

mwallin,
Can you please tell me about your planes landing gear. How does it bolt on, is it shock absorbing, over all quaility? I'm looking for a replacement for my Great Planes 80" J3 Cub and noticed the Hanger 9's. Thanks,,,

Try this one http://www.piperj3gear.com
or this one http://www.robart.com/RoboStruts/Cub_gear.aspx

Thanks, I've seen those two before but can't see spending 100.00 or 135.00 respectively for landing gear on a cub. I saw that horizon has the H9 Cub gear set for something like 9.00. Doesn't have to be shock absorbing, but would be nice.
Thanks for the links though.
