is anyone flying the pacific aeromodels edge 40? i have a magnum .52 2 stroke that i was thinking about putting in this plane but would i have to use a pitts style muffler? i dont think the stock muffler would fit with the engine mounted horizontally as is indicated for this plane.
the other option i was considering is a ys 63 4 stroke....
i'm kinda leaning towards the magnum b/c i wont have to spend any more money, but if the performace/ fit will be a lot better with the ys, i'm willing to buy a new engine.
any suggestions?
thanks.

If you look closely you will see that they combo it with a Saito .72. I wouldn't go as small as a .52 4stroke on that bird. Probably fly but no vertical to speak of. Personally I would use the Saito .82 in it. Same weight as most .46 2 strokes and much nicer.
