I have the Great Planes ARF and I love it, it's flying on skis now.

Make sure that those are the 40 size floats. I was thimking about getting the Great Planes .60 kit. Is the ARF high quality? What engine is on it? What do you think of the OS LA series?

I looked at that one also but I didn't like the covering. The GP is covered in Coverite and looks more scale.

The GP ARF is built rock solid and covered very well. I fly mine with an OS 52 4c, very scale like.

Are you referring to the H-9 covering not being as "scale?"

Is the GP Cub wing a two piece wing?

Yes, I have a set of GP 40 floats I built.

I saw it in a hobby shop and it looked real nice, lots of detail but I don't know anything about it.

I have the WM 71" Cub and love it! It flys great with a magnum 52 4 stroke. Its covered in monocote which is glossy, but for 129.99 you can't beat it. Built vey nice.
