Hey, I just got a e-starter assembly kit and have no experience building. Can anyone help me with the assembly? The instructions are very vague. Does anyone kmow if there are more detailed instructions online somewhere? Thanks for the help!

ahmoser,
That's the best instructions that you get. However, if you have specific questions on the construction of the E-Starter ask away and I'm sure someone will be able to assist you. That's the beauty of the forums. Also you could do a search for E-starter threads that have already been posted. Good luck and take your time with the construction. Think out each step carefully and ask on the forum as questions come up.
For additional posts and information on the E-Starter look in the electric forums.
Regards
Mike

Vague instructions? Come on... stop whining ... if you have a specific question, search for the answer in the electric section ... if you find no answer, then ask.
Those instructions are not perfect but even I managed to follow them and get my E-Starter flying.

Nope That's As Good As They Get.A Few Pointers May Help.
First ,Throw Out The Glue It Takes Forever to Dry.Use 5 Min Epoxy Or Foam Safe CA.
Have The Battery You Will Use So The Battery Tray Can Be cut To The Correct Size.
Use Velcro strips Or rubber bands to hold the fuse sides tougher.tape will mark the foam.
I Do Not Like The Hinge Material.I Used The Disk Out Of A 5 1/2" Floppy Disk And Cut The Hinges Using That (Glue With 5Min) Or Dubro Hinge Tape.
Use an old credit card to spred the epoxy.it helps keep the amount low.
Install he Wing Struts Before You Glue Them To Make Sure They Are The Correct Length.
I Fly On Grass So I did Not Install The Landing Gear.
I Built Mine 3 Chanel. No Rudder.i used HS55 Servos And 6 Channel Reciever for the range.
The Battery I used was A 8.4 Volt. 9.6 was Over Kill The Next One Will Be Lipo.
Finley After You Get Tired Of The Way It Flys As A trainer Clip The Wings At The Root Of The Curved Tip.Makes It Much easer to Roll.
Enjoy The Build.Keep It Light

- A 2S 1200 or 2S 1500 LiPo will fit without modifications. The supplied battery hatch will fall off sooner or later.
- "low-tack" tape does not mark the foam.
- The hinge material does not look like much but it seems to work OK. Mine has been flying for about two years now. I used floppy disk material on my Formosa and it was a bit easier to insert into the slots that I cut.
Use the grey matter: think about what you are trying to accomplish.
