Walked into Sheldon's today and got "goose bumps" when I looked up to see hanging from the ceiling a production model (not prototype) of the new World "GS" Jap ZERO.
Beautiful glass fuse and cowl with lines and rivet detail. Has built in retracts but I don't know if they have been improved.
Has flaps but their not "split", I think ZERO's had split flaps?
The only thing is they still have that (no offense Mickey) "Mickey Mouse" tail wheel on it like the P-51.
I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow but still don't know how to post them on RCU.

I was in Sheldon's today and this thing looks even better in the flesh. These photos don't really do it justice. Better than nothing but not as good as being there. I am personally waiting for the new World Models Spitfire.

I would think the angle of the struts would help stop any noseover tendency.

Nice Zero;I'm wondering if it comes with a dummy radial.I would consider putting in a Saito 170R 3cylinder in it also.It looks like it would be a nice fit.I wonder what the weights might be.Under 16-17 lbs maybe?I hope the retracts are of decent quality, then it would be really nice...Steve
