I have the new AT-6 and its a great little plane. I am in the final stages of assembly, so I have not flown it yet. Construction and quality is great. This will be my third VQ plane, including the mustang and the macchi. All three were very nice planes. The other two I mention flew very well and I was happy with them. Do some searches here and you will find that lots of people like the p40 too.

You will also see in many threads here, that some people will never again buy their junk. Yes, I am one that will never give them a cent.

nemesis4u: With regards to the VQ p-40 mechanical retracts, I notice they are set up to fine tune. Do you think they would hold up better then the robart 615's? I like what I see, and am curious as to how "rugged" they are.

ILIKEBIPES.... I like mechanical 90 degree retracts but not 90 degree rotating retracts... they have ball links like the Hangar 9 Corsair and Hangar 9 P-40... They do work well for some people,..and not very well for others... Just depends how well you set them up and how hard one is on them....... some people are fine with the Hangar 9 Corsairs with stock retracts others hate them and curse them...
It is really tough to say... I just say..do what works for you.... THey are nice rotating mechanical retracts and they come with or without the struts.. I like the ones with the struts...
Hope this helps...
Thanks
TOMAS
