Default Ultra Stick Mixing

Howdy folks,
I am setting up the mixing on my 8UAPS for my Ultra Stick 40 and.... I can't figure out how to get crow mixing without mixing airbrake (throttle) to elevator mixing. When I hit the crow switch it will only activate if my throttle is lower than the throttle in my settings. Is this a safety feature?
Also, is there a way I can put crow on another switch besides A?
Thank you very much.
John

That is the way it works the best, as throttle increases the crow goes away and speed increases, bring the throttle back to idle and get full crow. The plane will almost stop in mid flight. I like it this way so I did not try anything else.

I guess you're right. Also, if you are doing harriers with crow activated you'd want full elevator. I don't think you can change the switch though, kind of annoying. Oh well.
Thank you.
