Default CHP Double Vision vs GP 1/3 Pitss

Hey everyone. Suddenly have a notion to get another Bipe.

If I am going to get a DA50 wonder how these 2 planes compare. The DV has a 75"ws, Pitts 68" The pitts like speed Ive been told, don't know about the DV. The pitts is scale the DV is not. The pitss is $300 less with Monocote and the DV has Chinacote.

The DV is 3d capable, the pitts may do more tumbling.

Any thoughts??

Thanx

Two different, animals. I don't think you can rightly consider these two planes for the same style of flying, which makes for a difficult comparison. For example, the DV vs the Ultimate, would probably be more closely compared. The Pitts is definately, as you stated, not a 3D plane, nor was it ever intended to be. Personally, I just got the GP Christian Eagle. It is very similar to the Pitts, is basically the same size, but I think GP had time to kick the tires on the Pitts the learn a few things, thus, I looked at the Eagle as their 2nd generation of planes of this type. Still, I don't intend to go 3D with this plane. That is what I have my big Cap, Sukhoi, and Extra for. If you intend to do 3D with a bipe, Your choices are few and distinguished. Conventional aerobatics with bipes opens up many more possibilities, in my humble opinion.
