Anyone here like to shed an opinion of this plane? I can not seem to find any reviews or much in the way of info on this plane, nor does anyone at my local field seem to own one. I am thinking of this plane as a new home for my Saito 82 and as a fun fly but I do not know much about the characteristics of Bi-Planes?

I just brought mine home from the LHS. I have to say the manual is amazing. It looks like an easy assemble and it comes with a great hardware package. I also intend to put a Saito .82 in it. I will try my best to put together a good review post about the build.

I would appreciate that! I also was lured in by the one at the local hobby shop. The plane in the box looked very well thought out and built/covered and as you mentioned the instruction manual was very nice. It seems like it is a good size to transport but I do not know much about by-planes and there behaviours?

The only major difference with a bipe is glide ratio. Basically they are bricks. 2 wings just adds that much more drag. Keep power on approach and cut it at a few feet and touch down. No problems.

I have the purple version with a Saito 72 on it ! First flight today this plane is sweet however keep a little power on it when landing!
and cut the power a couple of feet and just flair it in ! and stay on low rates untill you get used to it then just have a ball with it!

I have a OS 70 on mine & it has power to spare. It should have plenty of power with the 82. W4STP is right keep on a little power during landing & it will land soo sweet. Its a great flying bipe. I like it so much I'm going to get the yellow version & put a 55AX in it.
