Hi all-
I am planning on buying a Lanier Dart ARF.I know, this is supposed to be only a season or 2 lasting plane, but I don't want to lay out 200 bucks for a stinger 60 right now.Anyway,I looked at tower's website and they say that it is a 1st generation, not 2nd generation,(pre 2001).What the heck is that?Surely they are not selling kits that have been on the shelf almost 3 years? Also,in the master catalog the plane has a yellow skin, and on the website it's some kind of beige or some ugly thing.Does anyone know "what gives" here?I am planning on stuffing a tower hobbies .75 in it so when I do get the Stinger 60 I can use it in that as well. Thanks guys,
Mike

Hi Greygoose,
I think that by "first generation" they mean "early design"... has nothing to do with the age of their inventory
Most of these early Lanier ARFs come with a white wing. The fuselage and wing tips are usually the same color, and that varies. Could be yellow, blue, black, orange, or white.
Suggest you call Tower and ask them what color(s) they have in stock.

Thanks,Randy-I decided to skip the el-cheapo and go directly to the Stinger 60.I just won a Tower .75 engine on Ebay for 68.00,so that made my decision.Any inside info on the Stinger 60 ARF?Thanks so much,
Mike
