Default WM rambler 45?

I will be installing the radio in this plane soon and I cut open the covering over what I think is the elv. pushrod slot but it seems to be on an angle is this the right slot and does it need to be modified a bit.TIA Greg

I just finished putting mine together. I didnt notice anything. They hooked up fine with just cutting open the little slots. Dont forget, on the left side you have a cutout for the rudder pushrod too. Maybe this is the one you are talking about.

Default WM Rambler 45

I just finishing assembling my Rambler 45 and I didn't notice any particular problems with the elevator slots. I put an OS FS 70-II Surpass in my plane and mounted it inverted. Great looking plane and I can't wait to fly it. Good luck with your plane.
