You can do it but you probably cannot use the UC positioned at the wings. You need to position the UC on the fuse in front of the wings. I flew mine pretty tail heavy, elevator servo at the back and it would tip on its tail if i lifted the nose. So I believe that the plane will not be a tail dragger with the UC in its original position.
Is there really a need to make it into a tail dragger? It will not be difficult to convert. Just a sheet of ply at the front of the wing and then attach a wheel to the tail, one of those cheapo units with the extended wire guide.
